Project hosted free webinar: Climate Services for the Hydropower Sector

Registration is open for our 3rd project webinar: Climate Services for the Hydropower Sector on 12 November 2020.

We welcome guest presenter Paolo Mazzoli, Technical Director from GECOsistema joining two presenters from our SECLI-FIRM project partners; Mattia Callegari from Eurac Research and Kristian Nielsen from Underwriters Laboratories (UL). The webinar focus is on turning climate science into solutions for hydropower production.  The SECLI-FIRM presentations feature two of our eight project case studies, Strong El Ninos and energy mix planning and Dry Winters in Northern Italy and energy generation with an introduction from Alberto Troccoli, UEA/WEMC. Paolo Mazzoli will present on the Smart Climate Hydropower Tool (SCHT) – an artificial intelligence based service for hydropower production seasonal forecast (CLARA).

The webinar provides an opportunity to share project progress and results, alongside other sector services, with a wider audience in the final year of the project.
