Leader of the EU H2020 project, The Added Value of Seasonal Climate Forecasting for Integrated Risk Management (SECLI-FIRM), Professor Alberto Troccoli is an expert on meteorology and climate research, in particular their applications to the energy sector. Alberto has worked at leading global institutions including NASA, ECMWF (UK), the University of Reading (UK) and CSIRO (Australia) and is currently Visiting Professor at the University of East Anglia’s School of Environmental Sciences. He is also leader of the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S) Energy operational project and Managing Director of the World Energy & Meteorology Council (WEMC).
